Sep. 09, 1970 - BOAC Airliner hijacked by Arab Guerrillas: A London-bound BOAC Super VC10 with 103 passengers and 10 crew aboard, was hijacked by Arab guerrillas today. The jet, flight BA'75 from Bombay, scheduled to land at Heathrow at 3.55 p.m. was seized over Lebanon. At the same time armed men burst into Beirut airport control and ordered the plane to land, refuel and fly on to an unknown destination. Photo shows 2nd/officer John H.F.
