Mar. 03, 1970 - Little Miss Superjet launches TWA 747 London-New York sevices at Heathrow: The world's smallest hostess today met the world's largest commercial jet aircraft at Heathrow airport, when Trans World Airlines inaugurated their daily, Boeing 747 Superjet service between London and New York. Daughter of a TWA employee, the mini hostess (Honorary status) was 7-year-old Natalie Morgan, from Addlestone, Surrey, who assisted the Lord Mayor of Plymouth, Alderman George E.H. Creber, in a champagne ceremony naming the TWA Superjet mayflower 70 - commemorating the 350th anniversary of the original Mayflower voyage from Plymouth, Devon, to America in 1620.
