Jan. 01, 1971 - An iliushin 18 aircraft crashed at Zurich airport.: While attempting an ILS landing in marginal fog condition an Iliushion - 18 aircraft of the Balkan-Bulgarian Airlines missed the runway and crashed in the Zurich airport area. Photo shows the foam covered wreck in which 35 persons were burned. Rescuers bring the bodies of the victims
