Jan. 01, 1972 - On February 5th The German Lufthansa Starts Its Schedule Flights To Moscow: On February 5th, 13.00 CET the first Boeing 727 of the German Lufthansa will start its first flight to Moscow. One day earlier the flight-service between the Soviet capital and Frankfurt, the most important airport of the Federal Republic will open with as Iljuschin 62 of the Soviet airlines Aeroflot. The taking up ;of the schedule-flights between Germany and the Sovietunion follow the German-Soviet aviation relations which started about 50 years ago. On November 11th 1921 the USSR and the Federal Republic of Germany founded the German-Russian Air Traffic-company Ltd. in short Deruluft'. The airports for the flights were Moscow and Konigaberg. The German Lufthansa which was founded in 1926 saw to an extension of the route Moscow-Konigeberg to Berling. The flight service Baerlin-Moscow lasated till the beginning of the German Soviet war. On June 21st 1941 the last Aeroflot-plane landed in Berlin-Tempelhof. Photo Shows: On April 30th 1922 a Fokker KF III with the sign RR 1 landed as the first plane of Deruluft on the Moscow-airport Chodynka. The second Fokker landed in Moscow on the next day. On December 8th 1955 two special airplanes of the German Lufthansa, type Lockhead Super Constellation with the former federal chancellor Dr. Knorad Adenaner and Foreign Minister Bretano landed for the first time since the war on Moscow-Vnukovo-airport. On February 5th 1972 a Boeing 727 Eruopa Jet will start for the first time in regular service from Frankfurt to Moscow
