Sep. 14, 1970 - Hijacked airliners blown up: Women and children passengers from the three aircraft hijacked by Palestinian commandos were freed from their desert prisons at Revolution Airf Jordan, on Saturday, and driven to Amman. Minutes a their release the three aircraft were blown up. The guerillas held back 40 men as hostages. Photo shows some of the released women and child pictured when they arrived in Amman
