Jan. 01, 1970 - Flying Display at Hatfield by R.A.F. Harrier, Buccaneer and Nimrod. Three of the latest aircraft types to enter service with Royal Air Force, today gave a flying display at the Hawker Siddeley airfield, Hatfield, Herts. They were a Harrier jump jet of No. 1 Squadron, RAF Wittering; a Buccaneer MS Mk 2 of No. 12 Squadron RAF Honington and a Nimrod maritime reconnaissance aircraft of the Maritime Operational Training Unit, RAF St. Mawgan.
