Sep. 07, 1971 - The Search Is On For Ex-Pan Am Stewatdesses In Britain: Pan American World Airways has lost some 150 ex-stewardesses in the United Kingdom and doesn't Know where to find them. Most of them are British girl who returned from U.S.A. bases to marry the boys they left behind, some brought with them Amjerican hiusband and other or Americans or Scandinavians who m, arried with Bristis men they met on the job. A But all most all hasve changed their names and adresses. The world's most expereinced airline is not trying to lure its most experienced girld back to home. It's merely trying to estavblish the airlinbe's first European Old girl network. ofiocialy to be known as World Wings International. Britain is a logical site for his European first chapter as next to American girls, the American airline has hired more British girls recently then from any other nationality. The organisaton which already has brtanches throughout the U.S.A. will hold its first neetine in London at the Portman Hotel on Spetmebr 14. So far some 25 former stewardesses have arranged to come. But here trying to track down other girls are present New York based stewardess Jan Vinsen and two former British stewardesses, dressed in the pre-jet and pre-jumbo-jet uniforms.
