Feb. 02, 1973 - Tokyo police using Japanese made Helicopters: Now that Japan is producing helicopters, the Metropolitan Police are using them for getting about the country, and for rescue work. The amphibious choppers will be useful for off-shore police work and rescue. Built by Kawasaki Heavy Industries, the helicopters are 25.40m long, 15.24 m wide, 15.13 m high, and have a top speed of 274 Km/h.
