Sep. 09, 1976 - The Hijacked TWA Bowing 727 Airliner Lands In Paris: Five Terrorists who hijacked a TWA airliner from America to Paris in Saturday were returned to the United States last night on a French military jet to face murder charges. The hijack, revealed at its end as a simple propaganda display for Croatian nationalists, went badly wrong when a bomb attached in a list of demands left behind in New York exploded, killing a policeman and injuring three others. The 59 passengers and crew of the hijacked airliner were released unharmed the plane landed on remote corner of Paris's Charles de Gualle airport.
