Mar. 03, 1977 - Seeing-Eye Nimrod on show for the first time: Hawker Siddelex and Margoni Elliott designers and builders of the new special Nimrod early-warning aircraft with its revolutionary downwards-looking radar, unvieled the weird-looking aircraft for the first time yesterday. In its first appearance from the factory hangerm, it underwent engine trials and it flight test progress will start soon.
