May 05, 1981 - The BAE 146 Feederliner Rolled Out At Hatfield: Britain's new short-haul feederliner-the BAe 146-made its public debut when it was rolled out at British Aerospace's Hatfield factory in Hertfordshire today. The new liner is designed to provide economical and quiet transport for up to 93 passengers over short-haul feeder routes, and will make its maiden flight later this summer.
