Airliner hijackers, Leila Ali Khaled, Salem Issawi
Sep. 09, 1969 - Hijackers of Airliner: These are the two guerrillas who are said to have hi-jacked the TWA Boeing 707 airliner last Friday when it left Rome on a flight to Tel Aviv. These passport pictures were issued in Beirut today. Leila Ali Khaled (left), whose pictures was published in a Kuwait newspaper, was said to be a 23 year old high school teacher registered with the Kuwait Ministry of Education; the man involved in the incident is Salem Issawi who is said to be 30. They forced the aircraft to land at Damascus, Syria
