Mar. 03, 1949 - Displaced children pay pre-birthday call on Albert Einstein: Youngsters from the reception shelter of united service for new American visited Dr Albert Einstein, eminent scientist, last week at his home in Princeton, New Jersey. Dr Einstein celebrated his 70th birthday on March 14th, and as a birthday gift a pledge was given to him by William Rosenwald that all displaced persons in European camps would be out by the end of 1949. Dr Einstein holds 8-year-old Victoria Lustig on his lap. On the extreme left is an 11-year old relative, Elizabeth Kersok, whom he had never seen before. William Rosewald, national chairman of the United Jewish Appeal, accompanied the group
