Feb. 29 The Munich Innkeeper Ludwig Weiss Owns One Of The Most Important Collection Of Beer-Jars: Not only the beer as national-drink of Germany through centuries have tradition, also the jars out of which generations drank their fluid bread reflect a part of the history. With 12 years Ludwig Weiss began with his hobby to gather beerjars - now he owns more than 500 beerjars, made of porcellain, stone or glass. The 400 reservist-jars which he gather mainly and a lot of jars out of the Biedermeer'-time. a part of them are unicats, represent a value of more thousands D-Mark
