Alexander Calder with sculpture, The Last Man Born
Jan. 30, 1957 - 30-1-57 Sculpture for Montreal Two pieces of sculpture by the famous sculptor, Alexander Calder, are destined for French exhibition at Montreal, Canada, which opens on 30th April, 1967. They are called Men of the Earth and The Last Man Born. They are made from a mixture of copper and nickel, and comprise some 60 pieces, and when assembled contain 4, 000 bolts and weigh 60 tons.
