Alexei Kosygin, Soviet Prime Minister, in Denmark
1971 - Kosygin in Denmark: The Soviet Prime Minister, Alexei Kosygin, begins a four day visit to Denmark on 2nd December. He is accompanied by his daughter, Lyudmila Kosygina, and they both have a very busy programme here, before they leave on Sunday for Norway. Many things are to be visited, town halls, the memorial grove for fallen patriots from World War II, the Parliament, a factory, a dairy, Fredensborg Castle, a fishing port and on Saturday Kosygin and his daughter will fly to Aalborg in Jutland where some months ago about 20 Russians were saved whose ship had gone down not far away from Jutland's coast. During Kosygin's visit in North Jutland he paid a visit to the co-operative FD, where he saw the central stock for the organisation. He received a rocking-chair as a gift from the former minister Lars P. Jenson now chairman for the co-operative. It seem that Kosygin enjoyed relaxing in the rocking-chair
