Alicia Marquez and Rita Cadillac to see magistrate

1960 - What a case: Queen of striptease, a bad boy, a folies bergeres star and a professional Killer cross-examined: M. Perez, a Paris examining magistrate has quite a case to deal with. The persons involved make up quite a motley crowd. There is, to begin with a folies bergere star dancer Alicia Marquez who failed to keep an appointment with Jean Louis Desy, son of the former Canadian Ambassador to Paris; brought up as a true American who keeps his appointments and does not like people not to keep theirs Jean Louis slapped Alicia who highly disliked such a discourteous manner of reminding one of a broken appointment. Poor Alicia, all tears, complained to her friend, Rita Cadillac, better known as the Queen of striptease: Rita complained in her turn to her husband Jean Claude Terrade, owner of a night cabaret who told the story to his friend, a Sicilian Giovanni Crespo known among the bad boys as a Professional Killer'. Both men went to see the Ambassador's son and asked him - at least they claim so - to do something to make up for his unchivalrous gesture. Jean Louise claims they tried to obtain from him a considerable amount of Good Canadian Dollars and the Sicilian Killer made it clear to him that the whole story might have a very bad ending should the young Canadian disobey their kind invitation'. Now M. Perez, the examining magistrate who was duly informed by police inspectors has to find out what's what about their thriller'. All five actors of the Drama were summoned by M.
