Nov. 11, 1956 - Very fine perspective gives a very fine telecast: At the Allgau Alps northeast from Sonthofen (Germany) the mountain Grunten rises. It is famed for its top from there a beautiful looking round is possible. Therefore the Bavarian broadcasting and television occupied the top of the Grunten. In 1952 the Bavarian broadcasting established an ultra short wave station at the Grunten and now the Bavarian TV will send its telecasts when the new television station will be ready this winter. An enormous steel scaffold rises to the sky. It extends to 50 meters. From the top of the steel skeleton the telecasting will being done by an antenna. The aerial mast is founded in the rocks. No real TV castings are sent for now, but the technicians proof already the distance of which the telecasts can be received by the viewers on their TV set. The radius of the castings is estimated to reach to the Bodensee, to Ulm and also to Augsburg. Through that new station a huge area of the Southwest of Germany will soon be able to receive the Castings of the Bavarian TV. The whole capacity of the station can't worn out whilst the Swiss stations would be disturbed
