Dec. 15 U.S. Ambassador Invests Vice Admiral Sir W. G. Andrews The American Ambassador to the court of St. James, Winthrop W. Aldrich, invested Lt. Colonel James P. Carne of the Gloucestershire regiment with the Distinguished Service Cross and awarded the Legion of Merit to other British Officers for their service with the United Nations forces in Korea, during an investiture at the Ambassador's Residence, 14, Prince's Gate, London, this morning, November 18th.
