Americana
Feb. 26 The completely restyled Mercury Monterey, the big car entry in the Mercury line, features a unique rear window and roof line that sets it apart from all other American cars. The window slants inward and virtually eliminates visibility problems caused by rain, snow, ice and frost. The window, which is power operated, provides excellent ventilation when opened. For increased power and performance, a 39 V-8 Maruder engine is standard on the Monterey, replacing the 223 six-cylinder and 292 V-8 engines which are no longer available
