Aug. 08, 1974 - Andre gives press conference on London Symphony Orchestra: At a Press Conference at the Savoy Hotel today, conductor Andre Previn said that the London Symphony Orchestra's 1974/75 concert season would begin with a tour of the United States, during which the LSO would become the first British orchestra ever to perform in the Hollywood Bowl, and it would end with a return visit to the Salzburg Festival.
