Andrei Amalrik, Russian writer and dissident, in Amsterdam
Jul 16, 1976; Amsterdam, Holland; One of Russia's best known dissidents, the historian ANDREI AMALRIK, 37, arrived in Amsterdam yesterday with his wife Gyuzel, after a conflict with the Soviet authorities he left Russia to emigrate to Israel, though neither of them is Jewish, Mr. Amalrik first became known in the West for his book Will the Soviet Union Survive Until 1984?
