Angela Rippon awarded Freedom of the City of London
Mar. 03, 1978 - Freedom of the City for Angela Rippon: Angela Rippon, the BBC Newscaster, received the freedom of the City of London at the Guildhall today. The freedom was presented at a Private ceremony by the Chamberlain Mr. John Griggs, Miss Rippon was nominated in her married name of Angela dare by Mr. James Keith and Alderman Peter Gadsden, members of the court of Common Council.
