The walls and ceilings are lined and covered with his treasures collected in a life of travel in the East, when he led an Oxford University Expedition in Central Borneo; as well as in Lapland, New Hebrides, West Pacific and among the cannibals of Malekula, for which he received the Outhbert Peak award of the Roy. Geog. Society. His collection includes native scroll designs, mats, hats, Dyak parangs, musical instruments fans, stuffed birds, charms, idols and weapons. Mingled with these modern radiogram, a fridge and other articles of western civilization. Family pets of the Harrisona are two orangutang and some owls.
