Sep. 09, 1952 - Seasonal onslaught against the Death watch beetle precautionary measures at Westminister Hall; Workmen from the Ministry of Works, were today staging their periodic examination and repairs to the ancient hammer beam roof of Westminster Hall, it is being sprayed and brushed with insecticide to prevent the ravages of the death watch beetle which was first discovered there in 1913. Photo Shows Mr. Albert Jones, of North Cheam, examines some of the holes made by the death watch beetle at Westminster Hall today
