Unusual pet in the home of Mr. Bett, in Chipstead Way, Banstead, is Algy - a three year old alligator, who is the personal pet to the son of the house, 13-year old philip, whose father is president of the Goldfish Society. Algy is two feet long. and so far is very gentle, though Philip realises he will ultimately have to part with, as the tank next to fathers goldfish would hardly be suitable for him.
