1953 - Volunteers Train Horses For The V.I.P'S - In Hyde Park. Assistance From The Local Youngsters: A camp has been set up in Hyde Park for the training of horses for the use of V.I.P's during the Goonation ceremonies. They are being trained by volunteers of the Royal Army Veterinary Corps and the R.A.F. Photo Shows: R.A.F Volunteers keep control of the horses as they ride past a party of flag waving and noise-making children during the training in Hyde Park this afternoon. The youngsters were invited to help by making a noise - and were of course more than happy to assist
