Sep. 18, 1953 - Biffo the bear likes a bath and has it in the street.: Biffo the bear is very fond of a nice bath and so when officials of the Lordship Lane recreation ground told his owner Mrs. George Finnett of Tottenham that he could not use recreation ground Boating Poll for his twice weekly dip because there was no provision in the bye-laws for bears bathing in the boating pool he had a bath on the pavement in a bucket and neighbours looked on as he had his al fresco shower
