Oct. 10, 1954 - Redjacket Trixie R.N. Sails In - Wearing Medals.Stray Puppy Who Saw Service In Korea. Included in the crew of the British destroyer H.M.S. Constance which arrived at Chatham after 8 years foreign service was Trixie R.N. who was taken abroad the vessel as a mascot - a stray starving puppy in Japan two years ago. A whip round among the crew produced more than twice the Pound 26 needed to pay for her six months quarantine in Britain. Trixie's shipmates will visit her in turn for an long as service duties permit..
