Feb. 02, 1955 - Young Hippopotamus - on the banks of the Isar!: Hellabrunn, the Munich Zoo, has a nice piece of news 25 ton heavy Lutz and his not much lighter wife Tanga have got a little daughter of 20 kilos. Our photographer tried two days before the managed to shoot it, for hippopotamus babies are very shy and will stay under water most of the time. But there came a moment of wantonness, and baby hippopotamus left the floods at the sides of its mother, and we had our picture
