Feb. 02, 1955 - Girl Sees Lions Kill Her Finance.Lion Tamer At Northants Circus: Twenty three year old Dutch Born Annie Spek looked on helplessly yesterday as five lions attacked and killed her fiancee - lion timer Rene Roger Ruellot who was training them at the headquarters of the Roberts Brothers Circus at Polebrook, near Peterborough, Northants. It appears that one of the lions owed him and his others - smelling his blood - sprang together Ruellot was dead he was dragged clear from struggling lions.Photo Shows Five lions tamers and a licenses when this picture was taken his license hid mauled all these men with in a year. Now the man with the bandages - Roger Ruellon has been mauled to death
