Nov. 05, 1957 - 5-11-57 Whipsnade has Britain first baby Rhinoceros A baby rhinoceros, the first born in Britain, has been born at the Whipsnade Zoo. The baby parents are Indian rhinos, Mohini, the mother, and Mohan, the father. The baby rhino is only the second to be born in captivity in Europe.
