Nov. 11, 1957 - Giraffe Gerdie is being X- rayed: The giraffe Gerdie of the circus Althoff - at present in Duesseldorf - had dislocated a vertebra of the neck and had to be x-rayed. This is, of Course, no simple matter if one considers the length of the neck. Gerdie is being fed from the top of the ladder whilst the x-ray is being made by an X-ray- assistant from the opposite side
