Dec. 05, 1956 - Knorke landed at the Berlin airport: In 1945 the Berlin Zoo lost the last Gorilla. Just now on dec.4th a new gorilla baby was brought to the Berlin Zoo by n air-plane. It was welcomed like we a sceen star. The photographers and reporters atonce had a name for the little gorillla. They called it Knorke which means in the Berlin slang very well
