Dec. 15, 1956 - Poodle Puppy Christmas present for Soviet dancer Ulanova ? Ulanova, the popular Soviet Ballet dancer is soon to receive a Poodle puppy as a Christmas present from a well-wisher in this country. When she was on a visit to this country earlier this year. Ulanova fell in love with a poodle and expressed a wish to have one like it. A telegram was received in London from Ulanova, saying that she was ready to pay all transport charges. The poodle she liked so much was owned by Mrs. Edith M. Barham, of North London and that poodle ?Cherie? has recently given birth to a litter. Mrs. Barham has offered one of the puppies as a gift to the dancer. Keystone Photo Shows: Cherie, with the puppy that was been offered and accepted by Ulanova. JSS/Keystone
