Jan. 01, 1958 - Rare Wallabies On Show At London Zoo: For the first time in 36 years - pairs of rare fat-tailed (sometimes called short tailed) Wallabies - are on show at the London Zoo. Owing to their extreme rarity - and elusiveness - the Australian Parks Board is sending pairs of them to zoos all over the world. The pairs at the London Zoo - arrived in this country a short time ago. Photo Shows: Three pairs of the rare Wallabies huddled together at their new home in the London this morning
