1959 - XYZ Club Meeting At The Zoo.: Members of the XYZ Club - the junior sections of the Zoological Society of London, met for the first time at the London Zoo today. During a demonstrat of young chimpanzees in training for the new Children's Zoo, organisedd by Dr. Desmond Morris, Curator of Mammal at the London Zoo. and Mr. W.P. Peckett, Head Keeper in Charge of the Children's Zoo - chimpanzees Fifi who is 4 1/2, Beebee, who is 2 1/2. and Josie who is 2 1/ - all females, took part in a competition which is consisted of knocking down grapes with a swinging ball. Fifi, who knocked down 27 grapes in three minutes - thus breaking the record. Photo shows Fifi seen in action during her record- breaking spell, watched by some of the members of the XYZ club
