Jan. 01, 1958 - Zebra antelopes in the Frankfurt zoo: As the only of the world the Frankfurt zoo has got two Zebra antelopes. These strikingly striped animals are living in the densest virgin forest of Liberia. Until now it wasn't possible to take pictures of those animals. The German animal hunter Luhrig has caught three young zebra antelopes and nurse them with the bottle. Two of them still are living and could be brought to Frankfurt
