Dec. 12, 1958 - Mrs. Appleton and her crippled Dog Susie'. Mrs. Vera Appleton was to be seen with her Samoyed dog Susie yesterday - taking her for a walk in a wheeled cradle. Mrs. Appleton, of Forest Hill has been nursing Susie for about a year - after the dog had collapsed from a paralytic stroke. Mrs. Appleton owns a pet shop and was determined that Susie could recover - and has been training her to walk again - with the aid of the support.
