Jul. 07, 1959 - Zoo's first giant Armadillo on show.: Titan the rare Giant Armadillo which arrived recently at the London Zoo from South America was on show there this morning for the first time. It is a young male - is 4ft. 1 1/2 in. long and weighs 47 lbs. 14 ozs. and is first of his type at London Zoo. Photo shows Children watch the Giant Armadillo during its first outing on the Chimp's Lawn in the Zoo this morning
