Jul. 07, 1959 - Zoo's First Giant Armadillo On Show. Titan the rare Giant Armadillo which arrived recently at the London Zoo from South American was on show there this morning for the first time. It is a young male - is 4ft. 1 1/2 in. long and weighs 47lbs. 14 ozs. and is first of his type at London zoo.
