May 11, 1959 - First Husky Dogs To Be Bred At Whipsnade Zoo This Year: Photo Shows Whipsnade Zoo hostess, Margaret McKnight, of Sunstable, holding the first husky dogs to be bred at Whipsnade this year. Their father, Pilot mother is Brenda, is a brother of four huskies, Sir Vivian Fuchs took with him on the Transantarctic Expedition. The zoo's director, Mr. Harold Tong, is offering them to visitor at 15 gns. each. A zoo official describes them as being Delightful Cuddly dogs that make very affectionate pets
