Jan. 10 Kdala Female Koals Bear, Nursing a baby in its pouch, miraculously survived a bush fire which ravaged a forest in Australia recently. As 30 meatre high flames swept through the trees which were her home, she made her way down to a dry creek bed and escaped with only slightly signed fur. Two RSPCA resue team members. Paul Stichel and Tom Goldborn, found her under a balckberry busy and handed her over to a vet for treatment. She was then released into a nearby conservation park to Begin a new life.
