Feb. 25 Proud Parent. The world famous ape house of the zoological gardens in Basel, Switzerland announce a real sensational breed success with their gorillas. Goma, the female born in the zoo 11 1/2 years ago gave birth to a baby. This is most probably the first time that the breed of gorilla in the second zoo-generation succeeds, for father Pepe is, as well as mother Gomne, a Basel-born gorilla.
