Feb. 26 Young Dwarf-Hippopotamus At The Munich: It looks rather contrite, the new born hippopotamus at the Munich Hellaburnn zoo, for it seems as if being lectured by it's mother. Could it be, that the small one has been too eager to be photographed? For it's mother Fanta doesn't like it at all, when strangers come near her baby, then she gets very narvous. And that's exactly what the keepers of the zoo are afraid of, for not very long ago, a little hippo was bitten to death by it's nervous mother Coco'. so for some time, about three weeks, the keepers must keep an eye on both of them, after that it is almost sure, that the little one is save. The hippo-baby, with 99% certainty a girl, was born in the last days of December, meanwhile is 30 cmtrs long would be the first dwarf-hippopotamus to grow up at Hellabrunn after the war, when it survives
