Feb. 26 A hippo in the house Most women will put up with their children bringin home strange faces and assorted playfriends, but when your two-year old daughter brings home a baby hippo, things can become hectic. It happened to Mary Chipperfield (of the famous circus family) and her husband Roger Cawley, who manage the animal section of Longlest. Their daughter, Suzanne introduced Esme into their home. First the little hippo got into the kitchen cupboards, then decided to take a quick nap on the lounge room floor, before gathering strength to play with her new found friend! The Cawleys relax on the sofa in their lounge room whilst Esme prepares for her sleep
