Jan. 10 The problem of the Dartmoor Ponies. They stop the cars for tit-bits With the approach of the tourist season, the famous Dartmoor ponies are expected to prove to be more of a problem than ever. Whenever a car stops on the road across the moor, the ponies run up alongside and poke their head through the windows, begging for food and tit-bits. Now they are becoming more venturesome for they do not wait for the cars to stop, they make them stop by standing in the road and even progress as far as the Car Park in Princetown.
