Animals - Aquariums - Archeology - Insects - Fossils - Zoos

Feb. 25 Keeping The FLU Away. Since most inmates of Czechoslovak, and for that matter, zoos in general, come from tropical and subtropical regions they need extra care and attention during the winter months which some of them stand better than others. Apes feel an urgent need for the sun, and so everything is done at the zoo in Usti, Czechoslovakia, to make up for the lack of it at this time of the year, with ultra-violet rays, which helps keep away colds from which apes and monkeys are included to suffer fairly frequently. Photo Shows: This ought to keep away the colds - thinks this ape - preparing for an ultra-violet ray session at the zoo in Usti, Czechoslovakia
