Feb. 25 The tale of the fox and the hare.: Once upon a time there was a fox named Ferdy and a hare named Robertson but unlike the famous fable they were not constantly trying to out-so one another. For Ferdy and Robertson are the best of friends - they are the pets of Cherry Gash, 12, of TIlehurst, near Reading, berks. The hare and the fox are inseparable and love to go for their regular weekend walks round the village with Cherry, causing a great deal of consternation among local people, to say nothing of local animals.
