Feb. 25 Plenty of pigeons are not only at the Markulplatz in Venice, but mean while became a nuisance for many towns. This old Turk, however, doesn't care about that, he, on the contrary tries to make business. Every day one can see him sitting on a wooden box at a certain place in Instanbul offering pigeon's feed. Of course, he is not presenting the plates for the birds themselves but for tourists or natives who will pay some Kurus to get feed for the always hungry birds
